I was very scared to come to Mexico for my son to get stem cells. I did a lot of research and felt led to come here. My son is 14 and he suffered a spinal cord injury after a dirt bike wreck. He is ASIA T5 B, paralyzed from nipples down. We went to Zapopan for a month. Dr Arroyo and his team were fantastic, he and his wife speak very good English as well as a lot of the staff. We stayed in an air bnb while there. They lined up a driver for us and he was great as well. We have been home for a couple weeks and my son can tell a huge difference in sensation and movement. They went way above and beyond what they had to do for us. The therapist were very good.

Hello, I just wish to recommend Sportmed Centro Medico and thank them for all they did. I was well informed, all questions answered, (very important when one is nervous) and well taken care of. Although Guadalajara is not english friendly, there was always someone at the Medical centre that was very conversant in the english language. I was in very good hands with all the staff and my anxieties were laid to rest. Their system is not similar to ours...but I felt, far superior!! The curio cabinet brought me to tears with the trophies that were given to the Dr. in gratitude. A lovely note of gratitude to the Dr. sat beside a massive wrestling buckle!! Dr. Arroyo speaks english beautifully. His manner is honest, gentle, forthright and so very knowledgeable. He has a good sense of humor too...I knew I was in good hands. Its been a long time since I have been able to trust a Dr. Rest assured you can trust and be comfortable with Dr. Arroyo....you are in good, capable hands.
Thank you to all the staff for everything that you did. I don`t have a trophy to offer....but this review!! Hope it helps others to feel positive about their decision.

Hello Dr. Arroyo,
Just checking in with an update. 9 weeks post injections, and I am 95% better. I typically play about 2 hours and leave with little to no pain. There is a minor pain in L medial deltoid. I am sure that it is diminishing as time goes by.
Overall, I am extremely happy that I found you and got the stem cells done. I really appreciate your help. I will be playing in the US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples, FL at the end of April. I'll let you know how I make out!

Dr. Zarate and Dr. Arroyo are amazing! We are grateful to have discovered Sportmed Medical Center! My wife, Carolyn broke her wrist while rollerblading and needed to have open reduction distal radius surgery to repair the injury. We traveled from Washington State for this surgery and are grateful for all the Sportmed staff who were helpful and always very professional. Gilda, the business manager responded to all our questions and concerns via texts and emails in a very timely manner, even on weekends! Dr. Arroyo and Gilda provided us with their personal cell phone numbers to contact them if we had any issues or concerns. Two days after surgery, Carolyn decided to exercise and as a result had some swelling on her injured hand. Dr. Arroyo offered to come directly to our hotel to examine Carolyn’s hand on Sunday if the swelling didn’t go down. Fortunately, the swelling subsided and Dr. Arroyo didn’t need to take time from his day off to come see Carolyn. We have never experienced this type of personal care and compassion in the United States by a medical provider. Prior to selecting Sportmed for Carolyn’s surgery, we did hours of research and found Dr. Arroyo and Zarate to be outstanding surgeons. Sportmed Medical Center is certified and endorsed by the FIFA International Football Federation as a medical center of excellence worldwide and by the International Federation of Sports Medicine FIMS. Hello!! .. had a hard fall where I hurt my shoulder.. for this reason, I turned to Sport Med.... I had excellent service there.. The Doctor's diagnosis. Xitlali Without even seeing my x-rays was completely correct, from there I switched to physical therapy, in this place I had an excellent treatment, the care is very professional, by all the staff, especially Eduardo, .. they all act super nice tho . For that reason ... I fully Recommend this Physical rehab center.. my rating for all place and Staff is 10.
