Los 10 mejores hospitales de turismo médico en Merida, Mexico

"He is an excellent doctor, he saved my life after a surgery badly done."

Excellent doctor, but above all very human! I highly recommend it.

This doctor disfigured, gaslit and ghosted me. Dr Acosta gave me a BBL which involved liposuction. It gave me permanent lumps on my mid area He neither warned me of this risk, nor was it stated in the document I signed. When I left his office he told me to get lymphatic massages for the fibroids. I followed his instructions exactly, but it was ineffective. When I later contacted him about this, he told me that they weren’t fibroids and created a false narrative that this occurred because I didn’t follow his advice which was a blatant lie We had agreed in advance that I was to have 3 treatments with him: the second a BBL and the third a tummy tuck. He never advised me not to get a BBL or lipo (required for BBL). When I asked him to clarify,he told me that he’d stated that the proper treatment for this was a tummy tuck, which made no sense whatsoever. He refused to clarify what “this” even was. A tummy tuck in no way enhances the buttocks. I then sent him screenshots of every conversation we’d ever had, illustrating that at no time had he advised against the BBL. Since we were still slated to get the 3rd procedure (the tuck) I asked what he would do to treat these lumps during that time. No matter how many times I asked (even begged) I asked for specificity, he gave me cryptic, non-specific answers. He named procedures but refused to explain what they meant or what the risks were. When I initially approached him about this, it wasn’t to blame him. I just wanted a reasonable solution, yet he was defensive, manipulative, and vague from the very beginning and refused to provide me with any. These horrible lumps only appeared after the lipo. There is no other possible cause. He said it was loose skin which was expected. To be clear, IT IS NOT LOOSE SKIN. When I pull the skin back the hard lumps are still there, clear as day. The more I attempted to reach a coherent resolution, the more contentious and defensive he became; constantly deflecting, avoiding, and using cryptic rhetoric. He constantly gas-lit me and even questioned my mental health. It soon became apparent that he didn’t actually have a solution, or didn’t want to do what was necessary to resolve the problem, which is why he desperately tried to project the blame onto me. The last we spoke, he still agreed to see me for the third procedure which was part of our initial agreement, even though a resolution still had not been established. It was so stressful and still causes me extreme anxiety to this day. Then he just disappeared. For 6 months now I have tried politely and diplomatically to reach out to him, repeatedly explaining that I didn’t want to have to do this review but would do so if he didn’t respond. I was far more patient than I should have been. Clearly, he didn’t think I’d follow through Pictures don’t lie and there appears to be a pattern here, despite his high rating. I did a little digging and read a review by someone who stated that he had agreed to do a procedure on her, but when she asked him to be clear about the risks, he backed out of the arrangement. He obviously doesn’t have much respect for the hippocratic oath. The first procedure I got with him was a facelift, which went well and he seemed like a very nice person. Little did I know that if something were to go sideways, his MO would be to blame the victim and offer no empathy or clear solution. It should also be noted that he neglected to mention until after the 3rd day, that I should not sit on my butt. The first 6 weeks are the most important but the first 3 days in particular. As a result, I lost at least 50% of the fat he injected (he said I’d lose no more than 20 or 25%). I later got sick and lost the rest but that part wasn’t his fault. So in the end, there’s no butt enhancement, $10,000 lost, 6 weeks of extreme discomfort, and permanent disfigurement. I am beyond devastated. He will retort to this with lies and probably some out of context screenshots. Please don’t fall for it.

Excellent doctor, professional and always keeping himself updated to offer the best to his patients.

Whiteline is a terrific family owned and operated clinic. My wife and I had a great experience from start to finish…we got a cleaning and several other procedures done as well. Just wish I was going to be in Merida longer these guys would be my full time dentists! Thank you Eduardo and Guillermo!

I went to this place to get a quote on their stem cell treatments. I had gone to a couple of places back home and felt that in GDL Mexico they would probably be less expensive. I decided to go to Cells Time Clinique I was met with a cocky young doctor, Dr. Alexi. He didn’t really get into how the stem cells worked but was asked what type of illness I was coming in for and then went straight into pricing. The price was high compared to what I’ve seen in TJ and no I am not talking about CPI (those guys are really outrageous in their prices). After being asked a few questions he quoted me $8000! When I gasped he said, “Oh but we're having a special this month and its 50% off”. So that was a big red flag to me because no business is going to lose or just give away $4000 and take that big of a hit on their profit margin. I know there are more affordable places and clinics that actually care. After I told him I’d think about it, his vibe gave off as if I wasted his time and I felt beneath him. I say, for $8000, I’d go to the original location that started the stem research, which is France, and at least get a vacation out of it and STILL get money left over! Avoid this place. There’s definitely more affordable places. These businesses that are in it to ‘help people’ are just in it to make 10 times more than what the vials or treatments cost. Do your homework and don’t fall for the snake oil salesman

Beware, the doctors lie to you at this clinic. I recently went down for 3 weeks of treatment for breast cancer. Even though I told them I didn't want their chemo treatment, they assured me it would be really helpful, they would only be using 10% and I would not lose my hair. They lied. I lost all of my hair which started 1 week after I returned home. When contacting my doctor he told me that was so unusual and recommended Minoxidal (which actually makes your hair shed worse before it regrows). This happened to 2 other women I kept in contact with. So it wasn't that unusual. When I followed up to find out what they gave me, it was the MOST toxic of all the chemotherapy treatments and they gave me a 50% dose, not 10%. It makes me question everything they are administering here. It has been extremely stressful which is opposite from what I need healing cancer. I am guessing they push chemo so much because they want results. I later found out the type of cancer I have, isn't responsive to chemotherapy. I would have hoped a clinic like this would have tests to check this. The total disrespect for me to make an informed decision makes me motivated to share my story to help protect others. I regret going here. Spend your money with doctors who are honest. I will say that the nurses were spectacular. They deserve a 10 star rating. But the doctors deserve a -10 for taking advantage of their patients at their most vulnerable.

After years of considering options, I finally chose to have a facelift with Dr. Ary, focusing on the cheeks and jawline since I felt sagging there. His calm, clear communication reassured me; he showed me before-&-after photos and explained what I could realistically expect. Post-op, I experienced some bruising, but nothing extreme, and the healing process was carefully supported by his team. Months later, I feel like I look like myself — just younger, firmer, more vibrant. People tell me I look rested, not “done.” I’m thrilled with my results and grateful to Dr. Ary for helping me feel comfortable in my own skin again.

Excellent Cx Plastic Certified 100 Percent Recommendable for both Personal and Professional.

Doctor Sandoval performed buttock augmentation with implants and fat transfer on me in June 2025. Traveling from the US to Mexico City.I honestly didn't know what to expect or what level the care would be by both the surgeon and the hospital. Dr Sandoval is a talented, board certified, plastic surgeon who did an amazing surgery on me. His professionalism and surgical skill thorough and meticulous. The results were better than I expected. I am planning an "tummy tuck" abdominoplasty for the fall of 2025 and would only trust Dr. Jorge Sandoval to be my surgeon. If you're still unsure, arrange a consultation via whats app like I did. After he answered my numerous questions, I knew he was the best surgeon for me! I chose Star Medica Lomas Verdes as the site for the surgery. I am an Surgical Nurse in North Carolina, United States. The level of care and professionalism of the surgical staff, anesthesia staff, and the nursing staff on the inpatient floor were not only good, they were excellent! Star Medica Lomas Verdes is My hospital of choice for surgery in and around Mexico City. Thank You very much for an outstanding surgical experience!
